Mother’s Day

This year is the first year in awhile that I did not get to see my mother in person for mother’s day, but we made the best of it and had a Zoom picnic – each of us on our patios. I had a spread of fruits and veggies and scones from my favourite local tea room. And we had a delightful time.

As I mentioned before, I have been struggling with RSI in my wrist and thumb, so any kind of work is slow and in very short spurts. It also means a lot of my fun downtime is on hold since right now that is Minecraft.

But, my husband and my son each logged into our family world and built some of the projects I had planned to help boost my spirits and they were, indeed, boosted! It was such a sweet gift.

Then my son helped me with my backlog of stock prep so I no longer had that hanging over my head.

This week we plan to tackle some photography and website updates. He’s a very good egg. And, I am a very lucky mama.

This blog post is going to have to be short because I need to go rest my wrist some more. The more I rest, the soon I can get things done – I keep telling myself that!

Cheers,

Tanya
